Pet portraits
A hand-painted watercolor portrait from your favorite photos. Dogs, cats, birds, wildlife, and all kinds of animals are welcome.
Each commission is a unique, original artwork made with care, patience, and attention to every detail.

2. I will reply with availability, final quote, and questions if needed
3. After you secure your spot with the 50% deposit (non-refundable) I will start working on the portrait and send progress updates if requested
4. Once I am finished I will send you a photo of the artwork for approval, after you are happy with the result i will send you an invoice for the remaining amount
5. Once payment is confirmed, I will securely package the artwork and send it to the address of your choice or arrange for pickup
What kind of animals do you paint?
Pretty much any animal! Dogs and cats are the most common, but I also love painting birds and wildlife. If it’s an animal that’s special to you (or simply one you admire), I’d be happy to create their portrait
How long does it take?
It usually takes around 2 weeks but it depends on the size of the painting and how many commissions I’m working on at the time. I’ll always let you know the estimated timeline before I begin, and I’ll keep you updated along the way
I’m ordering this as a gift. Can it be ready in time?
If you have a deadline, just let me know when you contact me or by filling out the form. If I have space in my schedule, I’ll do my best to have your portrait finished in time. The earlier you book, the better, especially around Christmas and other busy times of the year
Are commissions always available?
Because every portrait is painted by hand, I only accept a small number of commissions each month. This allows me to focus on each piece without rushing the process. If my books are currently full, I will let you know when the next commission slot opens
How much does it cost?
A4 – 120 eur, A5 – 80 eur, A6 – 60 eur. Listed prices cover one pet with a simple or no background. Extra pets, detailed backgrounds, urgent deadlines, and postage may change the final quote
Do you ask for a deposit?
Yes. A deposit secures your booking, and the remaining balance is due when the portrait is finished
Estimated delivery times after the portrait is finished and sent:
– Croatia: 2 to 7 business days
– Other EU countries: 6 to 15 business days

Shipping or market pickup is confirmed by email or Instagram, after the portrait is done and approved. Custom artwork is made to order and is not an instant purchase.
Price
Price can vary depending on the size and quantity of subjects. The prices are listed for one subject with abstract /no background.
Note that listed sizes are of standard frame sizes, but commissions can be made at any size if you wish!
All commissions come unframed. The drawing may be portrait (vertically-oriented) or landscape (horizontally-oriented), depending on what best suits the photo. Complicated, detailed background will incur extra fee.
For each additional subject 50% will be charged.
Prices exclude postage and packaging.
How to pick a great photo
Good reference photos are one of the most important things for a pet portrait.
A few things to keep in mind while choosing or taking a new photo:
1. Have a natural light, for example - natural daylight near a window or somewhere outdoors
2. Try to get to the same level as your pet instead of from far above while taking a photo. Use the best camera quality that you have
3. Take multiple pictures to find the best one. Try holding your pets favorite treat or toy behind the camera, so they focus on that, maybe move it up and down or to the sides to try different angles to find a position you’d prefer. Key features such as eyes and nose should be clear on the photo
The best reference photos for portraits are both well-lit and clear. Blurry or dark photos can result in a blurry drawing. If you cant decide on the photo I can help you choose the best one!
